Well this week has been a busy one! I have started getting nervous about not having anything ready?! I have all of these questions and all of these thoughts running through my head...What? When? Why?! I've never been pregnant so of course I have no idea what to expect or WHEN to expect it?!!! Construction on our house starts next week, lol, I know, we are CRAZY!

Can you tell, I'm freaking out a little? So, I talked to whit and blabbed a 101 questions in a matter of seconds. He was calm, and had an answer for everything. Whew!

Then a couple friend of ours went into labor last night at 27 weeks. Baby Lily is okay but weighs only 2lbs. Please keep her in your prayers and pray that he guides her doctors.  They are great people and have the world praying for them.

So, to say it has been busy is an understatement. Juggling work, the idea of bringing home three babies, my precious 5 dogs(+1 dog guest) and keep up with all my prego friends and how they are has been a real doozie!!!! Thankfully everyone is doing well!

To close, my 1st shower last Saturday was just incredible. My friends went above and beyond the call of duty. I was brought to tears by all the generous gifts and well wishes. At the end, some really special friends gave me an envelope. It was more than enough to buy all three baby beds!!!!!!!!!!!! What?

Another great doctors appointment! Everyone is cooking! Looks like Easter may not be such a long shot after all...meaning I am slow, winded and extremely tired. Before when they mentioned bed rest at Easter I kind of laughed and thought, oh I will make it long after that...but now I am seeing that is not the case! I gained one pound. So, that is pretty good considering weight is the enemy with triplets. More weight= more trouble. They are getting all the nutrients they need and the docs are not worried. My US tech won big points yesterday..yes, I am bragging..he said, wow, without knowing you I just assumed at 21 wks you would be way out here....and your not! I love him. I am measuring 29 weeks...ugh what will I be at the next appt?

My sleeping has changed dramatically. I basically...., dont. I have all these trick pillows, Tylenol pm and lavender lotion- and notta. I think Whit is experiencing the same...I looked over at him Monday night and he was wide awake and playing on his phone at 4am. The dogs on the other hand are having no trouble at all. In fact, they get frustrated with our erratic sleep schedule.

I don't have another appointment until mid April and then another one the week of Easter. Looks like we are on a fast moving train! Looking forward to a really blessed Easter....

She's still a girl.....

 

Well in true crazy fashion as we drove to Austin to our peri doctor appt. this am, I started worrying that our girl could have decided to be a boy! So, I was relieved to not only see that all of their hearts were perfect, no clef pallets, but that we still have two boys and one girl! In true girl fashion she is hogging all of the room and the boys are all squished! She is already a trouble maker!

I have attached a pic of each baby with their gender marked as well as one of them all together(they are getting so big they could only get their heads) and one with her mouth open...reminded me of when I was a kid, I used to always get bad marks on "talks at appropriate times" and I think she might too. They are all measuring in the 90th percentile, weighing in at 11oz and he says he would rather have fat babies now because they will taper off further down the road when the blood supply slows...he said this way they get a jump start!

So, we stay local for a month then we go back to see him. But for now, everyone looks fabulous!

Hello neurotic, it's me Becki

Yes, getting pregnant with triplets has it's ways of making you a bit crazy. You question everything and people are constantly telling you horror stories about their cousin. Last night I decided I did not feel well and felt unusual. So I told Whit I needed peace of mind and needed to go see Dr. R :), even  He of course was super sweet and said, let's go! So this am I called and Patricia told me to come in...she couldn't have been nicer. They told me to come in any time I wanted to see their little beats.

So, today we marched in and got a good look at those sweet babies. Everyone was in the pool and everyone was doing great! The reason I am not feeling well is because I am measuring 27 weeks prego...which would be entering my third trimester! Whew! I cannot believe we are moving along so quickly. So, we talked about the usual and we set a goal for moderate bed rest around Easter. I am pleased. I think this will give me ample time to grow and also curb my activity when it matters most.

We go for our specialist appt. on Tuesday. I am really happy to go see Dr. B and see everyone in such depth again. We will see their features, measurements and all their tiny hands and feet...lol all 6 hands and all 6 feet...guess thats 30 fingers and 30 toes ;)

We have picked out beds and have picked out bedding- now to just start ordering it all and making their room into that sweet little room I have dreamed about for years.

On another positive note, a friend of a friend had her sweet little boy yesterday! Congrats Ginny on a healthy baby boy! So much good baby news. Just love it.
