well, well, well......

I know, I know!!!!! I apologize for not updating sooner. Whew a whirlwind does not do this house justice. We got to bring Gianna home a few weeks ago and then the boys about 5 days later. It was crazy and surreal all at the same time. I am overwhelmed with all of the love you have all shown.

From meals, to laundry to feeding these hungry babies around the clock! You all have done so much to make the life of a multiple mom, NORMAL!  What is normal? I am certain that when you look up normal in the Webster, our picture is no where to be found. However, we are adjusting to our normal, and we LOVE it.  Being a mom is everything I thought it would be and so much MORE. I cannot get enough of these sweet babies.

Baby Riggs: he is our funny man. Funny little expressions and def. the little guy that was up all night when I carried him just two months ago. He looks around and is very observant. He has his own look and a personality that won't stop.

Becker: He is our sweet little guy. Very sensitive and loves his momma. He will be shy I think.....not like Riggs at all.

Gianna: Sweet gg is a typical little girl. A true angel. Always waits her turn and also very sensitive.

This could all change but so far these seem to be true of their personalities. Everyday we learn new things from them. So far we have them on a strict schedule and everyone seems to really like it. We feed every three hours, bath every three days and sleep VERY LITTLE :)

We hired a nanny for three days a week and I plan on going back to work in two weeks! I miss work but know it holds many deadlines that I am behind on and need attention. The babies will have to save all of their BIG steps for my days with them(Mondays and Fridays :)

We were sad to leave the NICU and the friends we made, but happy to have our little triplets all under our roof. Our first night as a family I didn't sleep 5 minutes. I have a feeling I will never sleep again. The responsibility is too great. I want their little lives to be the very best.

Thank you God for answering our prayers, thank you.

Sweet land of liberty.....

Whit and I got married on July 10th 2004 but only because July 4th was on a Sunday and July 3rd was taken.... I LOVE the 4th of July. This year was my favorite year and I couldn't have planned it any better. Saturday whit worked. I fed the babies in the nicu, went to the grocery store and caught up on laundry. We went to a friends house for an old fashioned fourth BBQ and watched the Ridgewood fireworks from their lake front property...on quilts....it was perfect. We went swimming and ate homemade ice cream ;) Sunday whit was off! He played golf and met me and some close friends at the pool for a great day. We saw the babes that am and then went back that night. We took the day nurses cupcakes and the night nurses a second batch. whit was off Monday too and we fed the babies that morning then drove to homestead heritage for lunch.... Soooo yum! Just a great weekend! Lots of naps, lots of babies and lots of fun.

Now.... How are the triplets?! They are fabulous!!!! GiGi weighs 4.6, Riggs is 3.15 and Becker is 3.10....looks like sister will be home in the next couple of weeks!!!!! With the boys just days behind! Their room is almost complete. Just waiting on their curtains, bed skirts and a few finishing touches!

How are we? Tired of the schedule and eager to get em home!!!! Loving the meals everyone is spook gracious to bring!!!!! Work is hard for both of us. Money is obviously a factor so we are both working as much as possible while maintaining rigid schedules in our personal lives. I have several friends and fam offering to sit for a few hours with Gianna while I go to work and the nicu to see the boys once she comes home-huge help.

We have lots of pics that I will post soon!!! I'm exhausted tonight....but hope to show you all the growing they have been doing!!!!
